Top 10 Best Wide Receiver Duos in the NFL Today
These are the top 10 best Wide Receiver Duos in the NFL today based on overall talent and production from the 2022-23 season.
10. Keenan Allen & Mike Williams
Keenan Allen 2022-23 Stats: 7 games played, 486 receiving yards, 42 receptions, 2 receiving touchdowns
Mike Williams 2022-23 Stats: 10 games played, 693 receiving yards, 48 receptions, 4 receiving touchdowns
You could argue this duo deserves to be higher. When they’re on, they’re on. The problem is that they’ve been battling injuries all year.
9. Deebo Samuel & Brandon Aiyuk
Deebo Samuel 2022-23 Stats: 7 games played, 486 receiving yards, 42 receptions, 2 receiving touchdowns
Brandon Aiyuk 2022-23 Stats: 10 games played, 693 receiving yards, 48 receptions, 4 receiving touchdowns
Deebo Samuel fell off this season compared to his 2021 production, but Brandon Aiyuk has been on fire. No matter who you put at Quarterback, this duo finds a way to produce.
8. DeAndre Hopkins & Marquise Brown
DeAndre Hopkins 2022-23 Stats: 12 games played, 612 receiving yards, 54 receptions, 2 receiving touchdowns
Marquise Brown 2022-23 Stats: 9 games played, 584 receiving yards, 54 receptions, 3 receiving touchdowns
The moment DeAndre Hopkins returned from suspension, he picked up right where he left off. The problem lies at Quarterback.
7. D.K. Metcalf & Tyler Lockett
D.K. Metcalf 2022-23 Stats: 14 games played, 924 receiving yards, 79 receptions, 6 receiving touchdowns
Tyler Lockett 2022-23 Stats: 14 games played, 964 receiving yards, 78 receptions, 8 receiving touchdowns
I thought this duo would fall off because of the change at Quarterback. Geno Smith has shattered my expectations and this duo has played better than ever before.
6. Mike Evans & Chris Godwin
Mike Evans 2022-23 Stats: 13 games played, 888 receiving yards, 64 receptions, 3 receiving touchdowns
Chris Godwin 2022-23 Stats: 12 games played, 785 receiving yards, 81 receptions, 3 receiving touchdowns
This Bucs team is in shambles right now. I blame most of the issues on the offensive line and running game. Mike Evans and Chris Godwin are still one of the best Wide Receiver duos in the NFL.
5. Stefon Diggs & Gabe Davis
Stefon Diggs 2022-23 Stats: 14 games played, 1299 receiving yards, 99 receptions, 10 receiving touchdowns
Gabe Davis 2022-23 Stats: 13 games played, 752 receiving yards, 42 receptions, 6 receiving touchdowns
Stefon Diggs is always in the conversation for the best Wide Receiver in the NFL. Gabe Davis started as a touchdown machine, but it’s clear that Diggs is carrying this duo.
4. Justin Jefferson & Adam Thielen
Justin Jefferson 2022-23 Stats: 14 games played, 1623 receiving yards, 111 receptions, 7 receiving touchdowns
Adam Thielen 2022-23 Stats: 14 games played, 686 receiving yards, 66 receptions, 5 receiving touchdowns
Justin Jefferson is the best Wide Receiver in the NFL. Adam Thielen is approaching the age of no return but continues to produce at a high level for one of the best teams in the NFL.
3. A.J. Brown & Devonta Smith
A.J. Brown 2022-23 Stats: 14 games played, 1201 receiving yards, 74 receptions, 10 receiving touchdowns
Devonta Smith 2022-23 Stats: 14 games played, 901 receiving yards, 71 receptions, 5 receiving touchdowns
This is another case of a Quarterback shattering my expectations. Jalen Hurts has made the most out of this elite duo. A.J. Brown is having the best season of his career and Devonta Smith improved on an already tremendous rookie season.
2. Ja’Marr Chase & Tee Higgins
Ja’Marr Chase 2022-23 Stats: 10 games played, 881 receiving yards, 71 receptions, 8 receiving touchdowns
Tee Higgins 2022-23 Stats: 14 games played, 894 receiving yards, 65 receptions, 6 receiving touchdowns
Coming into the season, this would have been my vote for the best Wide Receiver duo in the NFL. I’ve always thought Tee Higgins was underrated and Ja’Marr Chase stays in the conversation as one of the best NFL WRs.
1. Tyreek Hill & Jaylen Waddle
Tyreek Hill 2022-23 Stats: 14 games played, 1529 receiving yards, 109 receptions, 7 receiving touchdowns
Jaylen Waddle 2022-23 Stats: 14 games played, 1117 receiving yards, 62 receptions, 7 receiving touchdowns
If Tua didn’t underthrow them a couple of times a game, both Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle would have even more touchdowns this season. These are two of the fastest players in the NFL and fastestfastest players in the NFL, they are also the best Wide Receiver duo in the NFL.
